Our corporate headquarters are strategically located minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport at 55 Matchette Rd., Clinton PA 15026. The building is situated on 6 acres and consists of 22,000 sq. ft. mixed office and warehouse space, including 5,000 sq. ft. of customs bonded secure space. The warehouse area has 31 dock doors laid out for a cross-dock operation. these doors are large enough to accommodate aircraft pallets and containers.

AGX utilizes a 4000 sq. ft. maintenance facility with three full size truck bays. This facility operates 24 hrs. keeping our fleet in top mechanical condition.

The Altoona Terminal opened in 1985 to service the Johnstown, Altoona, and State College areas. From humble beginnings, the operation moved into our own facility on Old Rt. 22 in Duncansville, PA. This terminal sits on 6 acres, and consists of a 7000 sq. ft. building with 6 dock doors set up for cross dock operations.

The Clarion Terminal was built in 1997 on 18 acres adjacent to Interstate 80. The building is 5500 sq. ft. with 6 doors set up for cross dock operations. this facility services Northwest Pennsylvania from Erie to Bradford.

Air Ground Xpress operates an extensive fleet of late model vehicles. Our fleet consists of over 150 power units ranging in size from one ton cargo vans to 53' tractor trailers. These vehicles are all equipped with load securing devices such as e-trac and d-rings. Our standard straight truck has a 22' box, although we have boxes of different heights and lengths to accommodate different size freight and loading docks.

AGX's trailer fleet consists of over 80 units from 28' pup trailers to 53' vans. We have many flatbeds including single and double drop decks to handle virtually any load. Many of these vehicles are equipped with specialized equipment such as rollerized floors, Air-ride suspension, and liftgates.

Each terminal operates an array of freight handling equipment including dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, and jib-booms

Our tractor trailers and beyond-area straight trucks are equipped with state of the art satellite communications. The Qual-comm satellite system allows us to instantly locate and monitor a trucks progress. Each vehicle is equipped with an on board computer terminal that can send messages as well as receive them.

The Pittsburgh local trucks utilize the Nextel two way radios to communicate with dispatch and each other. These are gradually being phased out as new EDI technology becomes available.

Air Ground Xpress operates the most extensive same day pick-up and delivery network in Pennsylvania. Our service area encompasses over 29,000 square miles in Western Pennsylvania and the panhandle area of West Virginia and Ohio.

AGX is equipped to handle virtually any shipment including over-sized, hazardous materials, liftgate(with 24 hr. notice), and time specific.
